The Forbidden City (故宫)

Palace complex in central Beijing, China. It houses the Palace Museum, and was the former Chinese imperial palace and state residence of the Emperor of China from the Ming dynasty (since the Yongle Emperor) to the end of the Qing dynasty, between 1420 and 1924. 

Gubei Water Town (古北水镇)

Situated in Gubeikou Town of Miyun County in Beijing, Gubei Water Town surrounds the beautiful Mandarin Duck Lake Reservoir and leans against the Simatai Great Wall, the most dangerous and majestic section of the entire Great Wall. Regarded as 'Wuzhen in Beijing', Gubei Water Town boasts a combination of mountains, water and ancient villages.

Terracotta Army (兵马俑)

A collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BCE with the purpose of protecting him in his afterlife.

Leshan Giant Buddha (乐山大佛)

A 71-metre tall stone statue, built between 713 and 803. It is carved out of a cliff face of Cretaceous red bed sandstones that lies at the confluence of the Min River and Dadu River in the southern part of Sichuan Province in China, near the city of Leshan.

Shanghai City God Temple (城隍庙)

A folk temple located in the old city of Shanghai. It commemorates the elevation of Shanghai to municipal status and is the site of the veneration of three Chinese figures honored as the city gods of the town.

Shanghai Zhujiajiao Ancient Town (朱家角古镇)

Endowed with another elegant name - 'Pearl Stream' - the Zhujiajiao Ancient Water Town is the best-preserved among the four ancient towns in Shanghai. Unique old bridges across bubbling streams, small rivers shaded by willow trees, and houses with courtyards attached all transport people who have been living amidst the bustle and hustle of the modern big city to a brand-new world full of antiquity, leisure and tranquillity.

Lijiang Ancient Town (丽江古城)

Ancient water-supply system is effective function in today’s Lijiang ancient town, and rivers flows along every house. Ubiquitous mini bridge is the biggest feature there. Since Dayan ancient town is a confluence for trade along the "Old Tea Horse Caravan Trail" in more than 1000 years ago, the architecture incorporates the architectural feature of Tibetan ethnic, Bai ethnic and Han people.

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (玉龙雪山)

The 13 peaks in this mountain area are the sacred mountains among the Naxi people. Take the tramway to the Spruce Meadow at 3000 meters high, and you can both see the fascinating view and appreciate the gorgeous look of the whole snow mountain at the best place. Take a cable car up to Spruce Meadow or Yunshanping (Spruce Meadow 云杉坪) for the spectacular views of the Snow Mountains with the grasslands in the foreground, visit Blue Moon Valley(蓝月谷).
