Jenny Gao
Hello! I am Jenny Gao, the founder of Gao Chinese Culture Academy.
In 1993 I graduated from Shijiazhuang Teachers College in China with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been active in academics for 25 years. I am knowledgeable in children's psychology and have accumulated many experiences.
I moved to Atlanta, Georgia, from Beijing, China, in 2015. Since then, I have been engaged in Chinese cultural dissemination and language education. I have taught private lessons in Atlanta for many years. During these years of teaching Chinese in the United States, I discovered that families face significant challenges, including the lack of a natural, immersive Chinese environment in their daily lives. I also realized that typical Chinese language instruction causes children to lose interest and motivation to learn long-term. As a result, I altered my approach. Two years ago, I began integrating art, drama, and food into my daily teaching with great success! Students are intensely interested in my Chinese class and look forward to returning.
My mission is to make sure as many children as possible benefit from my journey and discoveries as a teacher; thus, Gao Chinese Culture Academy was born 😊!
When I rest, I like reading, taking care of my garden, hiking, and riding a motorcycle for trips with my husband.
Hong Ren
After graduating from the prestigious Tsinghua University, I have enjoyed opportunities to teach and demonstrate my talents in the field of art and culture around the world. After 30 years in Beijing, I moved to the U.S.A. in 2016 with my husband to expand my experiences and opportunities. Teaching has always been a part of my career, from classic classroom style to private tutoring and instruction in my studio.
I like all kinds of plants and animals. My backyard has 50 hens of different varieties and all sorts of organic vegetables and fruits. And I enjoyed sharing my organic eggs, vegetables, and fruits with my friends and family.

Liu Ge
I grew up in China and obtained my Master's degree in World Heritage Studies from Brandenburg University of Technology in Germany in 2012. As a freelance illustrator and self-publisher, she has been working for many years and has already published three picture books on child safety. Currently, Grace is passionately working on her historical romance novel "Vita's Prayer", which will be released in both English and Chinese in 2024. Her love for manga, comics, graphic novels, and all forms of sequential art has influenced her unique style of illustrating. Moreover, Grace has developed an exceptional lesson plan to teach children how to create their own children's books.
Wang Yiwen
I am an enthusiastic Mandarin Teacher with over 15 years of language teaching experience of delivering quality instructions to beginning and intermediate level students. I grew up in Nanjing, China. In 2008, I started to work as a teacher teaching Business English, from which I gained rich foreign language teaching experiences and found my passion in teaching as well. In 2012, I pursed advanced studies in the University of Edinburgh in the UK where I obtained my Master’s degree in Language Teaching. Since I moved to Georgia in 2015, I have been teaching Mandarin to both adults and children. Believing in the importance of the motivation in language learning, I am always committed to maximizing learning opportunities by keeping my students actively engaged and motivated in class. I like travel and music. I play piano and guzheng, a traditional Chinese musical instrument.
Yulia Chang
My name is Yulia Chang. You can call me Ms. Yulia. I live in Marietta with my husband and my daughter who is 5-year-old. I have educational experience for more than ten years. I have been working at muti-lingual schools as a Chinese teacher. Meanwhile, I often helped with childcare at my church. In addition to that, I’m also a dance teacher for quite many years. Kids and adults all enjoyed learning dance with me.
Being with kids has always been my passion. Can’t wait to meet all my friends at our lovely Gao academy school.
